I am preparing my talk for Sunday and came across this video. If any of you mothers out there feel sad, frustrated, tired, but also grateful, listen to this! Gotta love Elder Holland.

Word to the wise...
Do not put dish soap in the dishwasher.....
Yes, we are having this conversation...I am a little embarrassed to admit this, but I just got done cleaning up a dishwasher load of bubbles!
For some reason my self doesn't trust the one inch square package does it all for dishwasher soap. So I took it upon myself to add a little dish soap in the prewashing section!
Little did I know what consequences this would bring! Haha. Why do I have to be such an airhead sometimes. It reminded me of the time where I ironed my shirt while it was on! Come on, the sleeves were wrinkled. It sounded like a good plan at the time. Yes, my sleeves looked a lot better, but the scabby burns on each of my arms didn't help so much!
Anyway, you're probably wondering what happened when I found the bubbles seeping out of our dishwasher...Well, I had just finished wiping down the counters (this counter perfectionism comes from my mother and grandmother) when I hear little Boston switch from yelling "mama" at the top of his lungs to "bub-bows" in ajubilant voice. I'm glad it was fun for one of us.
I hurried and called Kyle to taddle on the dishwasher. I soon realized I really needed to hang up and grab the load of towels I just washed and soak up this water before Boston was covered! Another reason being I realized I had caused this with the dishsoap, and needed to get off the phone before Kyle figured this out also. ugh. stupid.
I proceeded to remove the bottom rack and scooped double handfuls of bubbles into the sink, (all the while Boston is finding every knife in the silverware bin) and wiping out the entire washer with towel upon towel. Only realizing after the fact, that I could have used the "drain" setting. again. stupid.
So, there you have it. I got it all cleaned up, but learned a valuable lesson. Let the dishwasher be a dishwasher, stop trying to reinvent the wheel, and use the all in one package!!

One Week...
Woo Hoo!!...only one more week until my family comes to visit! It's only been two weeks since we saw them last, but we are so excited for a little bit of home to come to our new home!
I feel like Boston has already changed so much in the two weeks we've been down here, so I know they'll be pleasantly surprised...and very worn out after chasing our little guy around!!
Now, this is just our first round of visitors, we have my Mom once a month, Julie on the calendar the end of June, and Jennie for her birthday in September....So who's gonna schedule next?!? We would love to have all of you!

Motherhood...
So, I hardly ever have the radio on when I'm driving. Whatever may be on my mind at the time seems to be easier to concentrate on in the car! (Much to Jaycie's dismay, this is probably why you say I'm a "distracted" driver!) Ha ha!
With that said....What was on my mind in the car today...
Well, just like when you get married, no one really tells you that there's work involved. Well today I was thinking along the same lines of when you have a baby, and become a mom, no one really tells you how much guilt, (or worry is probably a little less harsh) is involved.
Not too sound like I have issues or anything! And definitely not to sound like I'm neglecting Boston by any means. He is my whole world! But, there is so much responsibility being a Mom...
Think about how fast he is growing. Am I taking it all in? Am I helping him develop? Am I taking enough pictures? Am I teaching him about Heavenly Father and how special he is? Most importantly am I showing him how much I love him everyday? Every little toothy smile, every diaper, every laugh shared, every meal, every errand, every trip to the park, every shoe tied, every hand hold, every road trip, every time watching him and dada wrestle, every song we sing, every sign, every tantrum, every little darling and sweet thing he does...
I love him more and more with every second that passes. More than there are words to express.
Thank the heavens I don't have to do it alone... I have a wonderful husband, parents, siblings, in-laws, grandparents, Heavenly Father, friends, etc...
And Overall, How Rewarding!!!
So, just a little food for thought for the next car ride I guess! Loves!

same fun...new place...
Welcome to my new blog! Here I plan to record my lovely life, and all the adventures that come along with being a wife and mama!
First things first, we have finally arrived in San Diego, CA! aka.Heaven on Earth. Okay, maybe not quite, but pretty nice if you ask me. If all my friends and family were moving here with me, then yes, Heaven on Earth!
So bummer, our camera is not working at the moment, so I'm loading all our fun pictures onto my phone, but have to wait for the boxes of cords to arrive to transfer them on! So for now we'll just have to make do!
A few things we love about San Diego...
First and Foremost .... the weather! San Diegans call it "May Grey" and "June Gloom"...pppfffh.. they've never lived anywhere else obviously....if it gets better than this, then hallelujah, but it's awesome by me!
2. Our ward... we've already met a ton of fun people and have had many fun get togethers! But man, this world of stay at home mom's is a creative one. I gotta get myself in gear and find some hobbies...you gotta be a modern day becky-home-ecky down here!
3. Kyle's job...He is really enjoying his job! He can be a bit stressed at times, cause we all know Kyle, our worry wart perfectionist. All is done in sweetness...He just goes above and beyond to do a great job!!
But most of all, we love our new condo!!.....
Yay, we are not homeless anymore!! I can leave this pit of despair, some rich person is calling an extended stay hotel! Six of my steps cover the whole room! And let's not even get into the first night, where I found myself on my hands and knees cleaning the dang place! ugh...Okay..overall it's not THAT bad! But here are some views of our condo. ( I couldn't find any of the actual condo, but..)
The view from our complex!!
The Amazing Pool!!
So all in all folks...we're doing fine. We miss you all like crazy, this is definitely going to take some getting used too, being away from everyone! But don't worry, I pledge to be a good blogger and update often!
Loves!!
