Who knew the smell of fresh cut grass in January could spark so many thoughts and feelings. I am in absolute heaven with our weather, and Bos couldn't be happier with the beach or pool everyday! It's January, but it's not dirty, cold, and gloomy like we're used too. It's warm, green, bee-a-u-ti-ful, perfect...
However, it's not just the weather I've been thinking about. I am finally starting to understand the phrase "settling in." I honestly thought I would never feel like San Diego was home, but it just needed time. So many people told me it would, but only now have realized it myself. We really love it here. We feel comfortable and happy. We have awesome friends that help to feel the void of missing family, so many things to do and see at any given time, and each other to enjoy this with.
My life by no means is perfect, but who's is right. I'm just grateful for the time I've had lately to reflect on the good things in life, and have found when I really stop and ponder there are a lot!
