....TV..aka..a kid's best friend!...

This morning I was talking to my mom on the phone and she asked how her "little bubba" was doing...I proceeded to tell her he had a rough morning. A. he's stuffy and sick B. he was super tired, and C. he really just wanted to watch t.v. The past month has been hard with all the sickness, t.v. has become our best friend! However, it is nice to have in times of stress, but I don't want him to become addicted, ya know. So back to our conversation. I was telling her I turned off the t.v. and found other fun interactive games to play with Bos. She was so sad for him.
mom:  let him watch t.v., he loves it! don't be that mom!
me:   I do, I promise i'm not that kind of mom! (no offense to anyone!)
me:  Mom, he stands 3 inches from the t.v. he's gonna damage his eyes!
mom:   ooh cute, just let him, give him a baba and sit him on the couch!
me:   no, he doesn't play with his toys while he watches anymore!
mom: it's ok he's learning while watching! He's learning to be nice to others!
me:  hahaha. you are so funny.
me:  I'm glad you think it's cute, that my child will become a couch potato soon!
mom:  Just let him come to grandma's house. I'll let him watch whatever he wants...

So there you have it. A little bit of our conversation. Of course she doesn't want Bos to be a couch potato! I guess the saying is true "what happens at Grandma's, stays at Grandma's!" Lucky for Boston we're visiting soon!
