Our Holidays in pictures...

You know how they say "words can't express..." Well I totally feel that way about Christmas! I don't even think these pictures do it justice, but there are plenty to help us remember what a loving, memorable, and fun Christmas we had in 2011....
Started at home with Kyle and Bos making our first fire!
This was a crafty Christmas for me, so I set up shop and go to work! Yes, that is my kitchen table in the living room!
Meeting Baby Gunther for the first time...Someone LOVES him!

Christmas Eve...

"Please bring me the Batman House"....
Very concentrated on his cookies for Santa!
Cookie Crew
This is always who ends up finishing right?!
Cousin Time!
Sister Time!

Boston's Christmas Eve jammies...
Mom worked so hard all week, but especially for Christmas! Notice the time on the clock and she's still cooking!
 Christmas Morning/Day...
Santa came!!! Our Mom always set out our stocking and presents in a spot for each of us, I do it for Bos now because I loved it so much! I have to always take a pic too!

Notice my crying eyes, Kyle made this amazing picture book for me entitled "Do you know..." He had quotes like "do you know how much we love you, " and then pictures to go along, etc... It was the sweetest gift, I couldn't help but cry through the whole thing! He is such a thoughtful, caring husband. I love him!

Right before the madness began! The boys wanting to help G pass out the gifts!
Aunt Dest explaining how cool his gift was!
Christmas Day Windown! Bos takin' it easy while the adults had the traditional crab and potato soup dinner! Sorry no pictures of that, we were too busy eating this year for pics!

Finally wound all the way down at Grandma Robin's house!
Don't even think for a second J.R. was forgotten! We got to talk to him on Christmas Day and he's doing AWESOME!
After the couple of crazy Christmas Days we still found some energy for other fun things...

 We went bowling...

Seriously, look at that body. I just lovvvve him.
We saw the lights at Temple Square with Grandma and Grandpa in the freezing cold!

I think he loves these guys.
Got together with friends at a little Christmas Shindig!

Ryder Winegar and Boston. Seriously were such fast friends! I wish we lived closer they would love to play everyday!
The Guys (and girl) went shooting...

Visited the new Natural History Museum up by the U with the tickets G.G. got us! It was awesome!

Sure hope I inherit my Grandma's beauty! You'd never guess her age!
Did lots of hanging out with family, especially Baby Gunther! Boston wouldn't let him out of his sight!

Lots of hanging out with Grandpa...looking for bugs, going to the horses, Bos was in heaven!

Dad got to relax for a few days! No waking up at 4:30am for work = Happy Dada! We loved having him around more too...obviously...

Unfortunately our wonderful trip ended with the FLU...Happy New Year everyone!
There's nothing worse than a sick baby!
Thank you to everyone who made our Christmas so special! It's around these Holidays we pause to notice how much we really have to be thankful for, and how much love surrounds us. We are so grateful to be able to travel home for the Holidays and see such amazing friends and family!

December Nights & Our Christmas Tree!

We started off the night with annual tradition of "December Nights" at Balboa Park. This is our second year going and both years have been very fun! The museums are all open at no cost to view. There are so many vendors with Christmas gifts and FOOD! Lot of FOOD! This year we sampled the Greek Gyro's, Tamales, and of course Kettle Corn! We love that this has become one of the few traditions our little family has formed, it's a great one!
Balboa Park a la' Kyle, he's become quite the photographer!
Here's Bossy's favorite!
Natural History Museum

Then we headed off to get our Christmas Tree!

TAA-DAAAH!
Boston loved helping with everything, here they are tightening the tree in the base.
Both of their "Babies 1st Christmas" ornaments!
Didn't get a final product picture, but it's very symmetrical and full, just how we like it!
Seriously Christmas time truly is the best time of the year! Merry Christmas!
