don't you ever grow up... just stay this little......

My whole self aches when I see how fast my little boy is growing up... it breaks my heart, but also warms it when I think about what a bright future we have ahead of us. Our little baby is not so little anymore, and thats ok...
Thank you to my very talented friend Liz for these amazing pictures (first and last photos).!
Along with growing up and the sadness of leaving some stages behind, come new, fun, and exciting stages. I never want to forget anything this sweet pea does, and this is the main reason I love blogs, for the journal purposes they serve. That they allow you to have photographs and memories in such a fun way forever. I could fill an entire vault of pictures and sayings, but here are some of my favorites lately...
Wants to be just like Dada.
He's a goofball...wonder who he gets that from?!
Loves Firetrucks and firemen! We toured a station with my Mom with Fireman Adam as our guide, now everything firetruck is "Fireman Adam!"
Kickin' back watching a "moofie" in his favorite chair.
POPCORN......loves "pop-torn"
Anyway he can get it...
Is deathly afraid of the vacuum.
Loves his new "pack pack" and so do I, but it's just one of those things that makes him look older and it's so so sad.
He's very very smart, anything to help reach those "happy cakes"
Soo hard to get a picture of this, but he's picking and biting his nails here....seriously, how little does this habit start, but it's so hilarious how concentrated he is while biting!!
Loves hanging out with his friend Will.
Loves hanging out with his Dad. This is their favorite ride at Seaworld.
Loves hanging out with his friend "Baby Sage"......
this is how Baby Sage feels about it!
Loves loves loves watermelon, thank heavens for fruit or my child's diet would consist of  chicken nuggets, chicken nuggets, and chicken nuggets!

What a beautiful, sweet, charming, and kind little boy we have. We are very lucky parents. Here's to all the years ahead....

Our Visitor...

Grandma came to San Diego! We were lucky enough to have her stay with us for 3 weeks. It became our norm having her living with us, and we're still trying to get used to her not being here! We never do anything too extraordinary when she's here, I always feel bad about that, but I really do enjoy having one of my best friends to just live our life with. She's a maid, babysitter, chef, friend, argument referee, conversationalist, seamstress, interior decorator and the list goes on and on....It's a vacation when she finally makes it home.
We loved having her here and can't wait for the next visit...
Helping (but not so much) Grandma with everything!
Grandma was a good sport, speaking from experience this game hurts!
The Seamstress hard at work!
The finished product, don't you love them!
"pop-torn" Grandma and Boston's staple!
Making a fort, Grandma is Boston's best friend!
Another visitor, Grandma Joyce or "G.G." arrived for a week long visit, and we just had her going non-stop! We saw Balboa Park, Seaport Village, Old town, restaurants, and shopping! We loved having G.G. here too...
The lovely models on our new beach chairs, thanks Gram!!
Look out mall...here we come!
As you can see we really enjoyed ourselves, spending time with family is what makes life so good. We are so lucky to have visitors and thankful to them for allowing us our family time!We love you G.G. thank you for coming! We love you Mom, come back soon and bring Grandpa!
A little stroll on the pier.

Happy a you Grandma!

Today is mi Madre's "unofficial" birthday! She is a leap year baby, so this year she's still 11!! This is the most amazing woman you will ever meet.  She is absolutely my best friend and hero. I talk to her everyday on the phone for questions with Bos, drama, good times, bad times, or just for someone to talk to other than a 2 year old! She always makes me laugh and knows exactly what to say! She is who I look to to know what kind of person I want to be.
My best friend! Man, I miss seeing her everyday.
He really misses seeing her everyday!
The girls. We all want to be just like her!

She has so many talents that bless every single person she meets. If I had one word to describe my mom it would be compassionate. She is the most selfless, loving, non-judgemental person in the world. She makes everyone she knows feel special. She is very thoughtful and caring and makes all time spent toghether fun! She is sassy and spunky and very very creative! Every party thrown...amazing! {you can see her latest one here on my sister's blog} Every meal or treat concocted...amazing! Every craft...amazing! She is just amazing!

My totally cool parents! They are lucky to have each other, both of them are amazing!
She is such an involved Mom and Grandma. She was always there for us growing up, and still is there for us and especially our children! All of the grandbabies just love her and we all know why! I am so lucky to know her, let alone have her as my Mom!

She's so fun to be around!

Boston's favorite people in the world!
They probably climbed these stairs 10 times, but she doesn't care, she loves
Bos and let's him do whatever he wants! She's a perfect Grandma!
I could go on and on about my Mom, but the point is I love her very much and consider myself very blessed to have such a loving example in my life. Being away from her {and the rest of the fam} is the worst part about moving. We all have so much fun being together doing something or nothing, that's the best part! I miss them very very much. Love you Mom, a lot a lot a lot! "Dove du Gamma!"

Goin' on around here...

Just a sick baby...Bossy has croop and it's no fun!
A few things that make our little man feel better...
Foregoing breakfast, asking for "bobo", "baba", and mickey mouse clubhouse, and insisting on staying in the highchair!
You pretty much get to do whatever you want when you're sick!
Has been loving the binki this sickness! It doesn't ever stay long in his mouth, but I
must say a binki only makes a baby cuter!
Mama's specialty bed made just for you, and a movie!
Dada bringing a prize home from work because he feels sad that you're sick. Sweet Dada.
Bossy size Jamba and new trucks! My parents always got us a smoothie when we were sick, I always loved it!
I thought I'd carry on the tradition, turns Bos loves them too!

I'm sick......with "Bieber Fever!"....

Baby, baby, baby Ohhh!.....I know, I'm too old, I'm married, I'm a mom, I'm not 12...I don't care! I officially have the fever! No, I don't like him "that" way, just adore him as a "fan," I already have 2 cute boyfriends!! One of which {Bossy} loves to dance and sing along "bebe bebe bebe noooo"! It's darling!

So excited for the movie!!
 {Obviously got really dressed up for the flick!}
Liz and I put the little boys to bed and the big boys to the Xbox {seriously is a great babysitter, until you need them for something!} and ran ourselves right on over to JB's movie "Never Say Never!" I was thoroughly impressed!  I just think he is so sweet and polite. I love how he just adores his mom, and I hope that's how Boston will be! He really handles himself so well for being so young.  In this movie he seems like a regular 15 year old, but with an extraordinary amount of talent and an even more extraordinary life! I just hope Hollywood doesn't ruin him. {Listen to me talk like I really care about this kid, but oddly enough I do!}

JB's Signature Heart! True Fans {minus Aarean and Josh!}
So to all you haters out there, go see his movie and listen to a song or two and you will definitely catch "The Fever" it's pretty contagious! I know my in-laws that are staying with us this week have learned to love Justin and all of his catchy tunes! Baby, baby, baby, Ohhhh!

..C.A.N.D.Y..

This is a boy after his Grandma's heart! He loves loves loves candy! Anything sweet really, but he asks several times a day for "candeeeee?" or "caaaake?"  So of course Valentine's Day hasn't helped! It's been such a chore to get him to eat real food well, and this little sweet tooth he's developed is getting in the way of any sort of progression in the healthy food department!

So let's break down these pics... I wanted a picture of him in his jammies, but as we started trying to get him to smile he asked for none other than...CaNdY...

I said no...

He was too funny with the dramatic fit, so I said yes {i know..don't reward his behavior} but I really needed the picture.... he ran all through the house dying of laughter! Just so excited for one piece of licorice!

At least we got the smiling jammie picture!

Don't forget the beloved cake...  anytime we're at the store, he asks the entire time for a "caaake!" He remembers the cake section from his birthday when we took cupcakes to playgroup, it was heaven for him! He was a good boy on our last trip, so we picked out a giant cupcake!

"mmmmmm, mom"

Ps... Happy Valentine's Day! Take a look at at this blog and this blog to view our fabulous Valentine's Festivities!  We girls were quite the party planners!!! I hope all of my Valentine's {you} had a happy and love filled day too!!
