birthday.visitor.vacation.birthday.visitors.anniversary....

Yes folks, we have been busy! So busy that I forgot to post this gigantic post! It's late but never too late!

 Kyle B. turned 27...

Our darling friend the Jergensen's helped us celebrate...

Ya-Ya came to visit for her birthday! We also made a little time for a vaca to Palm Springs on Easter...

Yours truly turned 24...

and had the best surprise party ever go here and here to see the pics, don't have any I was too surprised!!! A huge shout out to Kyle, Jaycie, Aarean, Josh, Liz, and Dave! I know it was a lot of work so thank very very much!

Jaycie and Grey came to San Diego and we partied hardy!...

Last, but definitely not least Kyle and I celebrated our 5 year anniversary! I am more in love this man than every before. He still gives me butterflies and makes me laugh everyday! We have been through a lot of change in our short five years and it's made us stronger individually, but most importantly as a couple and family unit! I love you honey! Now, off to Washington D.C. to celebrate!

hair...who needs it anyway?

So...if any of you have spent at least one day with me you would know that I really struggle with my hur! Since having Boston I have developed quite a bit of curl in random spots? Don't ask. So I have a big dilemma, what to do next?

Do I cut my hair?
Do I grow it out?
Get a perm to make all the curl even?
Get a Brazillian Blowout? - {totally not realistic, i could never justify the funds!}
Bangs? - {please say no I hate them!}
What products do I use?

My favorite...

Love, but do I dare?
Shorter, way curly.
Medium short, straight?
Long curlyish....
Here's the thing, I'd be kidding myself to think I would "do" my hair everyday, that's the downfall of some of these straight hair do's. So, I just need something easy and cute, "a young mom on the go look" I might say if  I were talking to a stylist. So, it's hard...what to do???

Whatever... I'm just doing this!
The best for last! Boo yah!

Soooo excited....

for our new project....

I sometimes struggle identifying my decorating style for our house, but if I had to some it up, this would definitely work! I just love it, a diy project that isn't too hard for the Hubs, but so cute and different!

Pic from House8810

I'm thinking over our mission style entertainment center, or above our bed, but who knows, maybe both!

I seriously can't wait...

To my mom...

Mom,

The relationship we share is very special. I look to you for who I want to become, advice on any subject, venting and consolation, a good laugh, how to raise my children, comfort, fun, and most importantly love.

You have always been a constant in my life. There was never a time I needed you and you weren't there, most of the time with more than enough love and support that I even needed.

You are the glue that keeps our family together. We are all best friends for one reason, we learned from the best. The selfless, strong, loving example you've shown has been planted in all of our lives, and our families will be blessed because we were raised by you.

You are beautiful inside and out. You are graceful and feminine in every sense of the words. I respect you with all that I am, and love you more than I will ever be able to express.

Happy Mother's Day to you Mom, you hold a very dear place in my heart that no one else could ever fill.

Love,
Jamie

don't you ever grow up... just stay this little......

My whole self aches when I see how fast my little boy is growing up... it breaks my heart, but also warms it when I think about what a bright future we have ahead of us. Our little baby is not so little anymore, and thats ok...
Thank you to my very talented friend Liz for these amazing pictures (first and last photos).!
Along with growing up and the sadness of leaving some stages behind, come new, fun, and exciting stages. I never want to forget anything this sweet pea does, and this is the main reason I love blogs, for the journal purposes they serve. That they allow you to have photographs and memories in such a fun way forever. I could fill an entire vault of pictures and sayings, but here are some of my favorites lately...
Wants to be just like Dada.
He's a goofball...wonder who he gets that from?!
Loves Firetrucks and firemen! We toured a station with my Mom with Fireman Adam as our guide, now everything firetruck is "Fireman Adam!"
Kickin' back watching a "moofie" in his favorite chair.
POPCORN......loves "pop-torn"
Anyway he can get it...
Is deathly afraid of the vacuum.
Loves his new "pack pack" and so do I, but it's just one of those things that makes him look older and it's so so sad.
He's very very smart, anything to help reach those "happy cakes"
Soo hard to get a picture of this, but he's picking and biting his nails here....seriously, how little does this habit start, but it's so hilarious how concentrated he is while biting!!
Loves hanging out with his friend Will.
Loves hanging out with his Dad. This is their favorite ride at Seaworld.
Loves hanging out with his friend "Baby Sage"......
this is how Baby Sage feels about it!
Loves loves loves watermelon, thank heavens for fruit or my child's diet would consist of  chicken nuggets, chicken nuggets, and chicken nuggets!

What a beautiful, sweet, charming, and kind little boy we have. We are very lucky parents. Here's to all the years ahead....

Our Visitor...

Grandma came to San Diego! We were lucky enough to have her stay with us for 3 weeks. It became our norm having her living with us, and we're still trying to get used to her not being here! We never do anything too extraordinary when she's here, I always feel bad about that, but I really do enjoy having one of my best friends to just live our life with. She's a maid, babysitter, chef, friend, argument referee, conversationalist, seamstress, interior decorator and the list goes on and on....It's a vacation when she finally makes it home.
We loved having her here and can't wait for the next visit...
Helping (but not so much) Grandma with everything!
Grandma was a good sport, speaking from experience this game hurts!
The Seamstress hard at work!
The finished product, don't you love them!
"pop-torn" Grandma and Boston's staple!
Making a fort, Grandma is Boston's best friend!
Another visitor, Grandma Joyce or "G.G." arrived for a week long visit, and we just had her going non-stop! We saw Balboa Park, Seaport Village, Old town, restaurants, and shopping! We loved having G.G. here too...
The lovely models on our new beach chairs, thanks Gram!!
Look out mall...here we come!
As you can see we really enjoyed ourselves, spending time with family is what makes life so good. We are so lucky to have visitors and thankful to them for allowing us our family time!We love you G.G. thank you for coming! We love you Mom, come back soon and bring Grandpa!
A little stroll on the pier.

Ow ow.. hey good lookin'!
Kyle truly is my best friend. I've missed him lately as he has been working 12 hour days for the last couple of weeks. I know he is so beat by the time he gets home to Boston and I, but he still manages to make us both feel very special and loved!
Kyle to a Tee~
How lucky I am to have him as my right hand man. Thank you for working so hard for our family Babe!  We've made an amazing life together, and you're definitely the best part of mine {with Bossy at a close second, of course!}

Nuff of this mushy stuff....get home and clean your clothes off the floor! Haha. Love you!
